Job Readiness Program
Program activities:

The job readiness curriculum provides participants with tools and strategies that enhance the participants’ ability to obtain employment through workshops including resume preparation, self-esteem building, job search techniques and resources, interviewing techniques, and networking opportunities.

Participants unlock their full potential through one-on-one coaching. Participants learn how to create an eye-catching professional resume and cover letter; build their interview skills; handle difficult situations; build networking skills that will last a lifetime and connect with industry professionals to find and keep a job that they are passionate about. Participants learn how to plan and set realistic goals after obtaining a desired job.

Participants also attended tours of local employers, on and off sites hiring events and mock interviews with hiring managers and professional volunteers.
