Job Readiness – Workforce Development
Program activities:

Job Readiness Training covers basic soft skills needed to prepare job seekers for successful employment application, including resume clinics, mock interviews, job research training, and how to apply. Job readiness skills will focus on building teamwork, effective communication, problem-solving, work ethics, flexibility, adaptability and interpersonal skills.

Job Coaching through individualized coaching and group trainings and workshops, we support members to update resumes, identify transferable skills, pursue trainings or education as needed, improve English skills, and apply for jobs that would offer them economic stability.

Job Placement Provide support for individuals to search for good fit job opportunities, submit applications, and prepare for job interviews. La Colaborativa also maintains a list of local employers who are hiring, including many that struggle to find work-ready employees for their industry.

Job Days La Colaborativa hosts Job Days at our office where an employer who is actively hiring can come to our office and interview candidates for employment.
