Medical Customer Service
Program activities:

Our Medical Customer Service program will help participants to gain the medical customer service skills needed to help them get a job and succeed as a medical customer service representative. They will also benefit from a a paid internship at one of our medical facility partner sites, such as, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) or Lawrence General Hospital (LGH).

The schedule and structure of the program is as follows:

4 weeks of classroom instruction in customer service skills, as well as job readiness skills such as writing a resume and cover letter, followed by a 4-week paid internship at a local medical facility.

  • 18 plus years of age
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish: speaking, reading, and writing)
