Per Scholas is a national non-profit providing tuition-free tech career training.
Thanks to our donors and corporate partners, courses are always offered at no charge to our learners – no cost, no catch.
Our goal is to prepare graduates for employment and career growth in thriving-wage technology positions, such as IT Support Specialists and Cybersecurity Analysts, with competitive compensation/benefits packages and work-life balance. We run full-time, bootcamp-style training programs for 13-15 weeks, depending on the training track. Per Scholas’ holistic training model fully prepares graduates for employment in the tech sector, follows them for two years post-graduation, and includes:
-Technical Skills Training: Hands-on learning and mentorship to prepare for the job and industry recognized certifications (paid for by Per Scholas)
- Professional Development: 20% of our curriculum focuses on Professional Development with opportunities for mock interviews, resume refreshes, and other Job Search prep support with opportunities for one-on-one coaching now and after graduation
- Learner Support: Learners work with the Learner Support team to gain financial control and design success plans for personal goals, wellness, and more
- Job Connections: Learners are connected to a network of 25K+ alumni and 850+ employer partners across the country

Per Scholas pauses classes for a summer break during the July 4th week and for a winter break during the last two weeks of December. These breaks are planned within the cohort schedule.
Learners must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School diploma or equivalent, be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet learner pre-training income policy criteria.
Learners must be able to attend classes Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4 pm for the duration of the program and be committed to starting a full-time job after course completion.
In order to enroll in Per Scholas, learners must be able to read, write and speak in English proficiently, pass the required assessments and interview, and submit all documents.

Learners enrolled in a full-time IT Support training program with Per Scholas can apply for a Zero Percent Loan from Ascent to pay for personal expenses while training with Per Scholas.
