Adult immigrants with limited English proficiency
The ESOL for College and Career Readiness classes enhance the job and college readiness of adult immigrants with limited English proficiency, many of whom are unemployed or underemployed, through ESOL instruction including topics such as civics, family life, city life, American culture, academic readiness, job readiness and skill-building in digital literacy, soft skills, literacy and fluency. Participants will also meet quarterly with an advisor to receive one-on-one goal-setting and counseling services with the option to meet more often as-needed.
