Find a Provider Find free SNAP Path to Work education and training opportunities near you. DTA partners with community colleges, MassHire Career Centers, and community-based organizations across the state.
The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that combines zoom and classroom theory learning with hands-on skills training in the college laboratory and clinical practice (direct contact with residents in a long-term care facility).
Additionally, the program includes 8 hours of Alzheimer’s dementia memory care training and CPR first aid certification.
Students will be supported by an experienced instructor and a collaborative learning environment that encourages personal and professional growth and development.
Students will be prepared to take the state examination at the completion of program.
Total program hours include 6-8 hours/week homework/independent study,
Clinical hours schedule will be determined individually for each student and will vary based on host facility need.

Applicants will be interviewed and/or required to attend a group information session and complete a formal application prior to acceptance into the program.
Personal commitment and strict adherence to attendance policy is required to successfully complete the program.
