The Culinary Arts Program teaches students to apply methods of food preparation that illustrate a high level of skill and professionalism needed for advancement in the dynamic culinary industry. The program covers numerous topics such as: knife skills, preparation of soups, stocks, desserts, poultry, fish and meat, culinary math and measurements, moist/dry heat cooking methods.
All classes are in person at the Holyoke Community College Culinary Arts Institute, 164 Race Street, Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Books, test fees and uniforms are included. Students must supply their own kitchen safe shoes.
Successful students will earn the HCC Line Cook Certification and are eligible to take the ServSafe Manager exam

Must be at least 18 years old | Must provide documentation of full Covid 19 vaccination | Students must supply their own kitchen safe shoes | Must be able to lift 50lbs, push/pull 25lbs, climb stairs, stoop, and stand for long periods
