ANF Job readiness programs are designed to equip immigrants and refugees /individuals with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to enter and succeed in the workforce. This program will benefit immigrants and refugees’ individuals who may face barriers to employment, such as lack of education, job experience, or specific vocational skills.
Program components include:
Resume Writing and Cover Letter Workshops
Learn how to create effective resumes and cover letters that highlight their skills and experiences.
Interview Skills Training
Participate in mock interviews to practice and refine interviewing techniques and get tips on professional attire, body language, and communication skills during interviews.
Job Search Strategies
Receive guidance in effective job searching techniques, including online job boards, networking, and leveraging social media. Learn how to identify and apply for suitable job opportunities.
Basic Computer and Digital Literacy for the Modern Workplace
Become proficient in essential computer skills, including using email, word processing software, and navigating online job portals.
Soft Skills Development
Develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.
Financial Literacy
Workshops on budgeting, financial planning, and understanding employee benefits.
