Organization Overview
MFFC serves the community of Mattapan, but all neighbors are welcome to participate in every event, service, and program. We have special community programs focused on seniors, youth, and families with children. We serve about 7,000 community members annually and we want to increase that number. All of our activities and community events are free and open to all!

Volunteer Activity
Translation speaking, customer service and support farmers at our farmers' market, working with the children playgroup. Helping with setup and break down of the farmer's market.
Volunteer Schedule
Sometime starting in June moving forward. Possible weekdays and all Saturdays July 11-October 31, 2026
Other Volunteer Information
Skills with working with 2-10 playgroup, children playgroup actives. Customer service experience to assist the farmers with processing sales. Administration skills: printing, enter data, and organizing farmers market supplies
We would like to have volunteers that know or engaged with the community, possible live in the community. A community peer leadership. There is an onboarding process.
