ESOL Supported Administrative Office Certificate Program
This online 16-week program for English Language Learners with intermediate to advanced English skills is a series of courses taught by live instructors with much interaction.
The first course in this series, Digital Literacy, will teach students how to use Outlook to create and manage calendars, Video Conferencing applications such as Zoom and GoToMeeting, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Throughout the entire Certificate Program students will participate in supported ESOL studies to improve their English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
In the skills portion of this program, you will learn Microsoft Office; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access as well as Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
Administrative Tasks; Advanced skills in project management, time management, event planning, effective teamwork, collaboration strategies and database management.
Professional Communication; Develop strong communication skills, including writing professional emails, phone etiquette, and effective communication in a professional setting.
This program is FREE for qualified SNAP Recipients.

Students will meet with Skills Instructor two evenings per week (3-hour sessions) and will meet with the ESOL Instructor one evening per week (3-hour session). Students will be assigned homework.
