This program aims to enroll unemployed and underemployed adults in the Franklin and Hampshire counties.
This hands-on training will prepare you for immediate employment in the booming manufacturing industry. This is an in-person evening program that meets on weeknights from 4pm to 9:30pm for ten weeks.
The training will start with foundational topics such as OSHA-10, Manufacturing Math, Blueprint Reading and Metrology followed by hands-on training that covers Advanced Manufacturing principles such as CAD, CNC mill operations, and CNC lathe operations.
Job placement assistance will be provided through GCC's partnership with the MassHire Franklin Hampshire Career Center.

Most of the training program is completed in person during the program hours (Mon-Thu 4pm-9:30pm), but there may be some additional practice that can be completed outside of class hours to prepare for the credentialing exams.

Greenfield Community College: There is ample free parking, and the institution is accessible via public transportation (bus).
Classes run Monday-Thursday, 4-9:30pm at GCC and Franklin County Technical School (both locations are used throughout the ten-week program).
GCC’s manufacturing programs are offered through a partnership between GCC and the Franklin County Technical School, as well as the Franklin-Hampshire Regional Employment Board and Career Centers.
