The Patient Care Technician (PCT) Seven-Week Training Program by MassBay for South Shore Health is an intensive, hybrid and hands-on course designed to prepare students with the essential skills needed for a career at the hospital in patient care. The program combines didactic learning, lab exercises, and clinical experience to provide comprehensive training in patient monitoring, vital sign assessment, medical terminology, EKG, basic patient hygiene, nutrition, elimination, diseases and safety protocols. Participants will gain real-world experience through lab and clinical, working alongside healthcare professionals.
SNAP Path to Work participation in this program is supported by grant funding.

Program Requirements
Immunizations/Health Records | Students are required to complete both CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and SORI (Sex Offender Registry Information) checks before participating in the program.
