All participants in this component works with a Case Manager or Placement Specialist to create an Individualized Placement Service Plan specifically focused on job development and placement. The individual Service Plan sets benchmarks, activities and completion dates. Some Examples of tasks listed on the Placement Service Plan include Attend mock interview sessions, attend employer tours, apply to at least 12 jobs per month, document follow up contact with employers, attend job fairs, meet with assigned CWS staff member weekly.
Participants are expected to do 10 hours of Job Search per week, which will be combination of time in the CWS Computer Lab, attending CWS events and activities, and networking in the community. Participants track Weekly Job Search Activities through a log that is reviewed weekly during the case management meetings.
