The Career Advancement Program helps advanced English language learners strengthen their English, digital literacy, job readiness, and career planning skills. Participants receive contextualized English instruction, career and education advising, resume and interview support, digital skills training, and help exploring employment, higher education, or additional training pathways. The program is offered in hybrid and online formats to support working adults and participants with transportation or childcare barriers.

The program is offered on weekdays only. No weekend classes are required.
One cohort is offered in a hybrid afternoon format, and one cohort is offered in an online evening format.

The YMCA of Greater Boston Education & Training Center is ADA-compliant and includes classroom space, computer labs, student support areas, and access to technology. The program is designed to support both in-person and remote participation. Participants may access support services, intake, assessment, advising, technical assistance, Wi-Fi, and computer lab resources at the 100 Franklin Street location as needed.
