CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is a high‑skill, high‑demand manufacturing field that combines precision, technology, and problem-solving to produce parts and products used across industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, and medical device manufacturing.
At Goodwin University, the Collegiate Certificate in CNC Machining prepares students for entry-level and advanced manufacturing roles through hands-on training with industry-standard equipment and software. Students learn how to interpret engineering drawings, operate CNC machines, apply precision measurement techniques, and understand machining processes used in modern production environments.
This program supports SNAP Path to Work participants by offering a direct pathway into a skilled trade with strong earning potential and long-term career stability. The curriculum is structured to accommodate students seeking efficient entry into the workforce, while also providing a foundation for continued advancement in manufacturing or engineering technology.
