The program is designed to help individuals experiencing homelessness build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to secure and maintain meaningful employment in the hospitality industry. Trainees participate in hands-on training sessions at PSI’s facilities, as well as workshops that address digital literacy, mindfulness skills, job readiness, and more. An Employment & Stabilization Specialist provides one on one support to each trainee, guiding them through career discovery, resume writing, job applications, and onboarding into employment. The Employment & Stabilization Specialist will continue to follow up with and support graduates for up to two years. The Pine Street Inn Housekeeping Job Training Program’s comprehensive curriculum provides hands-on experience coupled with core learning competencies for success in the workplace.
