Program Orientation

Course Description

Program Orientation will take place in person on the first Monday of every month. It will prepare students for successful participation in the SNAP Path to Work program. Students will be introduced to program expectations, participation requirements, and the range of academic and support services available to help them succeed. The course also highlights the importance of digital literacy in today’s workforce and how these skills connect to employment pathways.

As part of the orientation, non-native English speakers will complete a pre-test (TABE CLAS-E) to identify their current language level, review and sign required program documents (including the student agreement), and begin setting personal, educational, and career goals.
