The Adult Education and Workforce Development program at Mothers for Justice and Equality provides income eligible women and men with the skills and training needed to enter into the workforce. During the program, participants enroll in various workshops which focus on topics such as
Participants also receive weekly coaching and mentoring to help clients create individualized action plans and support them in achieving their career and/or educational goals.
Participants who are eligible, can also apply for New Chromebooks after completing our Technology course.
While participating in the Adult Education and Workforce Development program, supportive services are also available to participants. Mothers for Justice and Equality has trained Family Advocates who are available to help participants in need of housing support, emergency assistance, childcare, transportation, and more.
Upon completion of the program, participants receive certificates and a graduation.
